Life After ERS

By integrating a comprehensive PHSE, Life Skills and Careers programme throughout the curriculum we encourage all pupils to begin thinking about their future at an early stage and throughout their ERS school career.

Some pupils choose to leave ERS after Year 11 and feel ready to move to an external sixth form or college, and some move into apprenticeships. However some pupils decide that they need extra time in a caring and structured environment before taking the step to a college environment. Therefore the ERS sixth form is their ideal choice and the extra courses and support offered enables pupils to gain the extra confidence required and the communication skills to choose an ideal course for their talents and ambition. Please see our separate section about the ERS sixth form, and the subjects currently available are on the subjects tab. We develop our sixth form provision and subjects available each year and most pupils have an individual timetable tailored to their needs.
